Educational requirements: Master degree in a relevant discipline such as Rural development/Social sciences/Management .
Experience requirements: Experience of Minimum 5 years working in skill development initiatives with Government projects; Experience in government contracting business and government projects/proposals is essential; Knowledge of the principles, terminology and methodology of proposal preparation is preferred; Experience working with MSDE, NSDC, DDU-GKY and other state Government Skill Development initiatives will be preferred; Exposure to working with the Central/State Government is an added advantage.
Desired skills: Fluency in English and Kannada is essential.
Job-description: Under the overall supervision of Chief Skills & Business Development, UNDP and direct guidance of the State Project Officer, UNDP Karnataka, the Technical Officer will undertake the following: To support the State Government with coordinate with training partners and other agencies regarding the proposals submitted as part of skilling training program; review and identify suitable proposals from various training partners and corresponding stakeholders; prepare comparative analysis of various proposals received for training partners as per government norms and procedures; manage the database of technical partners, stakeholders, etc. in accordance with the above.
