Name of The Post Is: Assistant Librarian

Pay Scale: 12,000 to 40,000/- + GP Rs. 6,100/-
Qualification: 1. The minimum educational qualification of the candidate shall be Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Bachelor’s degree in Library & Information Science of a recognized University with knowledge of computer applications followed by at least High second Class (55% marks or equivalent grade point) Master’s degree in Library & Information Science of a recognized University.

Qualification: 1. Qualification: 1. At least high second class degree in Civil/Electrical / Agricultural/ Architecture Engineering from a recognized technical institutions with 2-3 years experience or Diploma in Civil/Electrical/ Agricultural Engineering with 10-12 years experience in Govt./ Public Organizations.
2. Preference will be given to the candidates having past experience in supervision of construction/ internal electrification of buildings and streets electrification/ Agricultural field works etc.
Name of The Post Is: Lady Medical Officer

Qualification: 1. The minimum educational qualification shall be at least high second Class MBBS degree from a recognized University. Post Graduate degree in general medicine is desirable.
2. Five years practical experience in Medical College or in a Hospital of standing.

Qualification: 1. Passed Bachelors Degree in IT/ Computer Science/ Computer Application.
2. Secured 55% marks in a minimum CGPA of 3 in 4 point scale or 7 in 10 point scale in Master’s degree in IT/CS/CA.
3. Minimum 5 yrs. of service experience in the rank of System Analyst or equivalent.

Qualification: 1. Passed from ITI in the trade with 2-3 years experience.

Qualification: 1. Passed from ITI in the trade of Fitter or Plumber with 2-3 years experience.
Application Fee:Application fee of Rs.300.00 (Rupees three hundred) only for the candidate of general category and Rs.150.00 (Rupees one hundred fifty) only in case of SC/ST /PH candidate is to be paid by demand draft in favour of the Registrar, AAU, payable at Jorhat-13 along with the application form.
Selection:Candicates selection and appointment shall be made as per AAU Rule.
Application must be accompanied by the following:1. Attested copies of all certificates/mark sheets in support educational qualification, age, caste etc.
2. Two copies of recent passport size photographs duly attested by Gazetted Officer.
3. Attested copy of Employment Registration Card, if any.
4. Self addressed envelope (size 23 cm X 10 cm) affixing postal stamp of Rs.6.00 (Rupees six) only.
5. Physically handicapped certificate, if any.
6. Certificates of good character and conduct from two responsible persons known to you (but not related to you) and indicate the name and address of the referees at the section 19 of the application form.
Important Note:1. Candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India
2. Candidates already in Govt. service should apply through proper channel.
3. The application without proper supporting documents, unsigned will summarily be rejected.
How To Apply: The interested candidates may apply in prescribed form which can be obtained along with other details from the Office of the Registrar, AAU, Jorhat on all working days with effect from February 20, 2014 on payment of crossed IPO of Rs.10/- (Rupees ten) only in favour of Registrar, AAU, payable at Jorhat. The detailed terms and condition, qualifications etc. may also be obtained from the University website www.aau.ac.in and can be downloaded. The applications completed in all respect along with self addressed stamped envelope and other necessary enclosures in support of academic qualifications, professional experience etc. should reach the Office of the Registrar, Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat on or before 31.03.2014.
